The precursor to Yeterly AI, a collective of computer scientists, commenced addressing complex machine learning challenges in approximately 2015. Their initial efforts in Turkey involved assisting GittiGidiyor in the transformation of a rule-based search engine into a personalized product ranking system. Subsequently, they conducted research for Turkcell's Fizy to categorize music by mood using audio wave analysis. The group's early portfolio also encompassed various assistive technologies, primarily leveraging computer vision.

In 2017, Muratcan Çiçek initiated his Ph.D. in computer engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz, strategically situated adjacent to Silicon Valley. This presence facilitated the group's ability to expand and engage in collaborations with prominent industry leaders. Key projects included testing the inaugural versions of ARKit on a newly released iPhone X to develop a hands-free shopping application for eBay. Furthermore, they partnered with Google to contribute an open-source mobile library for face tracking using Flutter shortly after its initial release, preceding the launch of MediaPipe. The team subsequently joined Google AI in 2020 to contribute to automatic speech recognition systems for dysarthric speech. A final engagement involved work for Amazon Web Services, specifically focused on mechanisms that audit and validate inaccuracies within billing records totaling $3.5 billion.

The team formally returned to Turkey in 2022, establishing Yeterly Yazılım Teknolojileri Anonim Şirketi, supported by a 1512 grant from Tübitak. The inaugural product was a digital platform designed to connect individuals with similar disabilities for the purpose of sharing experiences in assistive technology. This platform empowered users to discover previously unknown assistive tools, thereby enhancing their daily quality of life. The dedicated community built from this foundational work directed Yeterly AI's focus toward human-computer interaction research, necessitating the remote collection of audial and visual data. This research successfully secured a 1507 grant from Tubitak and culminated in the release of several non-profit products benefiting diverse communities. During this period, Yeterly AI was also accepted into ITU Çekirdek, recognized as the most prestigious entrepreneurship community in Turkey.

Beginning in 2024, Yeterly AI attracted significant attention from the industry, leading to multiple technological partnership inquiries. The first such collaboration involved fraud detection with a blockchain startup based in the Bay Area. Subsequently, Yeterly AI provided assistance to Odine Solutions on various projects, including research on drone-based tower inspection and the development of a network digital twin, the latter of which was supported by a 1501 grant from Tübitak. The team's current focus is directed toward the humanization of LLM-based characters and assessing their impact on users within orientation processes.
